Isabella Robinson, News Editor

Isabella Robinson, affectionately known as Bella, is a sophomore broadcast journalism student in the Honors College and is originally from Winfield, West Virginia. Bella is an experienced journalist and holds the titles of both the News Editor and a reporter. She typically covers the Huntington and political beats. Her experience ranges from serving as the News Editor last semester to formerly hosting a music show on the WMUL radio station, to regularly broadcasting on behalf of the university at athletic and community events. She is also extremely active on campus as the elected Senator for the College of Arts and Media. She holds executive positions within the Student Government, such as her role as the Senate Historian, Financial Co-chair and sits on various ad-hoc committees. Bella is the Parliamentarian for the Delta Zeta sorority, Public Relations Chair for Black United Students, Treasurer for HerdFree and an active member of both the Pre-Law Club and the Society of Black Scholars. Bella has special interests in history, community service, public organizing and politics. In her free time, she enjoys distance running, writing poetry, puzzles, reading and interior design. After college, Bella intends to attend law school.
