Marshall University fraternity Alpha Sigma Phi will be hosting a pig roast Saturday.
Tickets can be purchased any day this week in the Memorial Student Center or via email to Naquan Gardner.
Tickets cost $10 a person for unlimited food.
The Pig Roast starts 1 p.m. at the Alpha Sigma house located at 1434 5th Ave.
“This is the first time Alpha Sig has done the event,” said fundraising chair Naquan Gardner. “We hope to do this event many more times in the future including WOW, pending approval, to use as a great recruitment tool while enjoying the company of the community and current students.”
Proceeds go to the chapter to make large improvements to the house over the summer.
“The pig roast idea generated from a living room conversation between vice president Justin Mullens and I, which started out as a joke, but transpired into a reality that we look forward to being a success,” Gardner said. “We are expecting 60 plus people throughout the community as well as students and Greek life.”
