Alaina Laster, Staff Reporter

Alaina Laster is currently a sophomore studying broadcast journalism and is double minoring in French and graphic design. She was born and raised in the small town of East China, Michigan. Alaina has always loved writing and knew that she wanted it to be a part of her career since she was a child. She is a diver on the Marshall University swim and dive team. She is very passionate about the sport that she started her sophomore year of high school after an eight year gymnastics career. Alaina loves to shop, read, sketch and drink coffee. She is also a member of the FIDM Fashion Club here at Marshall University. Alaina plans to work as a news anchor or reporter after graduation and hopes to one day include fashion into her career.
