Huntington Museum of Arts has plenty in store for fall months
The Huntington Museum of Art has a number of activities planned for the fall months, many of which are open to the public. Below is a detailed listing of the museum’s upcoming events:
“At Risk” Book Launch | Oct. 4 | 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. | Huntington Museum of Art
Book launch by S.G. Redling for her book “At Risk.” Copies of the book will be available for purchase from The Museum Shop.
Walter Gropius Master Artist Public Presentation with Patrick Lee | Oct. 13 | 7 p.m. | Huntington Museum of Art
Patrick Lee, a Walter Gropius Master Artist, will make a free public presentation about his work. Refreshments will be served. His exhibit is displayed in the museum from Sept. 24 – Dec. 30.
Sight Unseen: International Photography by Blind Artists Opening Reception | Oct. 23 | 2 – 4 p.m. | Huntington Museum of Art
The opening reception for “The James H. and Alice Teubert Charitable Trust Presents Sight Unseen: International Photography by Blind Artists.” Admission is free. The exhibit will be displayed Oct. 15 – Jan. 8.
October Tuesday Tour | Oct. 25 | 7 p.m. | Huntington Museum of Art
A Halloween-themed event during the October Tuesday Tour. This event is open to the public and admission is free.
“Funhouse Mirrors” Book Launch | Nov. 1 | 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. | Huntington Museum of Art
Book Launch by Michael Connick for “Funhouse Mirrors,” published by CreateSpace. Copies of the book will be available for purchase from The Museum Shop.
Art Auction Fundraiser | Nov. 5 | 5:30 p.m. | Huntington Museum of Art
The Huntington Museum of Art will host an Art Auction Fundraiser. A reception and preview of the art auction items will take place from 4 to 5:30 p.m. There is a $10 admission fee per person for this fundraiser.
Museum Shop Holiday Preview Sale | Nov. 8 | 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. | Huntington Museum of Art
The Museum Shop will present its annual Holiday Preview Sale. West Virginia residents may obtain a summary of the registration and financial documents from the Secretary of State, State Capitol, Charleston, West Virginia 25305. Registration does not imply endorsement.
Camden Park Presents Holiday Open House | Dec. 4 | 1 – 4 p.m. | Huntington Museum of Art
Camden Park Presents Holiday Open House. Admission is free, but donations will be taken of nonperishable food items for the Facing Hunger Foodbank and warm clothes for the Cridlin Food & Clothing Pantry.

2017 Museum Ball | Feb. 25 | 6 p.m. – midnight | Huntington Museum of Art
