The Marshall University Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship will host events every evening the week of March 14.
These events have been organized in partnership with the Chi Alpha students from Fairmont State University, who will be on Marshall’s campus this week.
Director of Chi Alpha at Marshall University Jeremy Dalton said this will be a fun week for students in Chi Alpha.
“This week will be a big week for Chi Alpha,” Dalton said. “We have a team of students from Fairmont State Chi Alpha that will be giving up their spring break to serve at Marshall.”
Tuesday’s event is called “The Hot Seat.” Couples of friends can compete in pairs to see who knows their partner best. The top three pairs will receive a prize.
This event will be held at 7 p.m. in the Shawkey Room of the Memorial Student Center.
Wednesday’s event will be dodge ball at 4 p.m. in the Rec Center.
Thursday’s event is called “The Escape Room.” Students will compete in teams to solve puzzles and challenges to escape. The team with the fastest time will receive a prize.
This event will take place at 7 p.m. in the Shawkey Room.
Dalton said all students on campus are welcome to attend the events.
“We welcome all students to be a part of our organization,” Dalton said.
Chi Alpha hosts weekly meetings at 7 p.m. every Monday in the Marco Room in the Memorial Student Center basement. Chi Alpha hosts individual groups for guys and girls throughout the week in the MSC.
