Marshall University’s Campus Activities Board is giving away free Marquee Cinemas movie tickets to “Jupiter Ascending,” to the first 100 students to pick them up.
Tickets are available at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Office of Student Activities located on the second floor of the Memorial Student Center.
The giveaway is a part of the Marshall at the Movies event CAB presents every other Tuesday for the Marshall community.
CAB Advisor Lee Tabor said this is one of many free events it offers.
“This is just one of the great free events we like to offer our students to help break up the monotony of class and give students a break,” Tabor
Marshall freshman Sheyna Black said she finds going to the movies a great way to relax.
“It’s an awesome opportunity to go out with friends and enjoy something I love,” Black said.
“Jupiter Ascending,” stars Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis, is about a young, destitute caretaker who gets targeted by the ruthless son of a powerful family who lives on a planet in need of a new heir.
