Joelle Gates
Joelle Gates is a senior at Marshall University pursuing a degree in online journalism. Her passion is sharing the stories of individuals from every walk of life to help diversify the idea of society, specifically in her Appalachian home state. Following graduation, Joelle hopes to obtain a career in corporate communications while also continuing her advocacy for Appalachia’s LGBTQ+ community.
