Lefty Webster, Forward, #21
Lefty Webster is a versatile swingman with terrific athleticism and length.
Her overall build is lean and long and a rarity in the women’s game. It allows Webster to make an impact on both ends of the court.
Webster is a stat sheet stuffer who can do a bit of everything. She leads the team in scoring at 13.4 points per game on 42.3 percent shooting, and has the ability to knockdown three-pointers as she has 29 on the season on 32.2 percent clip.
Webster gets to the free throw line (3.4 free throw attempts per game) where she ranks second on the team in free throws made. She can act as a distributor, averaging 3.1 assists per game, and she makes her presence felt on the glass with 5.7 rebounds per game.
Webster’s superior length and athleticism makes her a thief on the defensive end where she averages more than two steals per game.
Kira Gordon, Forward, #20
Kira Gordon is the primary inside scoring presence for the 49ers, standing at 6 feet tall.
Gordon makes a wide target down low, consistently producing solid post-position, where she then uses body contact to create space and finish with her left hand.
Gordon has the ability to absorb contact and still finish because of her balance and body control.
For the season, Gordon is averaging 11.1 PPG with a 47.6 field goal percentage and averages four FTA per game.
Gordon also leads the team in rebounding at 6.6 per game, with more than 2.5 coming on the offensive boards.
Defensively, Gordon is second on the team in blocks and ranks third in steals on a Charlotte team that averages nearly 9.5 steals per game.
