Locals can hop just around the corner to grab a bite at Huntington’s new The Corner Hoagies and Hops, which is blending well with the tri-state area dining scene. Hometown owner Jason Beter opened the restaurant in downtown Huntington in July 2021.“We offer a variety of specialty sandwiches and drinks at The Corner,” Owner Jason Beter said. “Growing up and Barboursville and being familiar with the area, I believe that the corner compliments the surrounding businesses.”Beter also owns local Oscars Burgers on route 60 in Barboursville.“We found out the property where Highway 55 was located was available, so we took the chance,” Beter said.” We did not have permission to relocate Oscars in Huntington, so we decided to open something new here.”The Corner Hoagie and Hops is located 801 3rd Ave in Huntington WV.
