Ashley Ferguson, Student Reporter
Ashley Ferguson is a sophomore at Marshall University studying broadcasting journalism with a minor in women’s and gender studies. Ashley grew up in Putnam County, West Virginia, and graduated from Winfield High School. Being involved in the morning announcements in high school, she knew that being a broadcast journalist was a perfect fit. Being equally involved in college, she is a financial aid work-study, Student Support Services assistant and the One Body student organization president. In her free time, Ashley loves to run, study fashion and keep up with current events, as well as pop culture, old Hollywood and ’70s music. She also organizes her mom’s quilt business and has a side hustle of making t-shirt quilts.
