GALLERY: Herd Football Fan Fest 2015
Marshall University football held its annual fan fest Sunday evening. After Thundering Herd players took team photos, they signed autographs and took pictures with hundreds of fans. The Herd opens the 2015 season with a home game against Purdue University on Sept.6.
Thundering Herd fans took the field Sunday evening with posters, helmets and jerseys in hand to meet their favorite players. After the players took team photographs, they signed autographs and took pictures from 4-6 p.m.
The event comes near the mid-point of pre-season practice. A scrimmage on August 22 will wrap up the pre-season before the Herd takes on the Purdue University Boilermakers September 6 in Huntington. The scrimmage will only be open to Big Green members and Marshall University students.
