Center for African American Students, BUS to serve up some scares during scary movie party

Staff Report

The Center for African American Students and the Black United Students organization, also known as BUS, will offer Marshall students some scares with a scary movie party lock-in Friday at the Memorial Student Center in room 1W25 at 9 p.m.

“Get Out” and “The Boy” will be the shown and food and refreshments will be served. Alexis Tyson, president of BUS, said the purpose of the lock-in is for recreational fun and to gather students in one environment to mingle and meet new friends.

Tyson said the organizations would like to make the Halloween lock-in an annual event and are also looking into the possibility of lock-ins unrelated to Halloween in the near future.

Students are encouraged to dress up or come as they are.
