Marshall Men’s Basketball outscored the Golden Lions of Arkansas Pine Bluff by 30 points in the second half en route to a 98-70 win in Huntington Thursday, Nov. 20.
Caleb Hollenbeck led scoring for the Herd, going eight for nine from the field for 23 points, including seven for eight from behind the three point line. His 23 points make a new Marshall career record for him.
Jalen Speer had a double-double for the Herd, scoring 18 points and dishing out 11 assists. Speer was just two rebounds away from a triple-double.
The win puts Marshall’s record at 4-1, with their only loss coming from Virginia on Nov. 15.
Coming up, Marshall hosts the Mercyhurst Lakers Sunday, Nov. 23, in a double header with Marshall Women’s Basketball.
