Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine graduates establish a scholarship in respect to their education and friendship founded at the school.

Bradley D. Henry, M.D., F.A.C.P., and Jack L. Kinder Jr., M.D., are teaming up to create opportunities for future colleagues in their profession. The Jack L. Kinder Jr., M.D., and Bradley D. Henry, M.D. Scholarship will assist medical students from Boone County, West Virginia, entering the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. The scholarship is renewable for up to three years.

Henry and Kinder have continued their friendship over the last 30 years since their time at Marshall, holding multiple positions in their field. The two teamed together in 1998 to establish Drs. Henry, Kinder & Associates, PLLC, in Charleston, West Virginia. Kinder, a Boone County native said, “This scholarship is indicative of life coming full circle.”

Henry hopes this scholarship will benefit students in staying and working in the state they love as he did.
