Calvin Staten is a third-year multimedia journalism major at Marshall University. After he graduates he hopes to find a future career in video game journalism or covering pop culture or his interests. With how video game journalists are today and the track record they have, he’s hoping he can help be a part of a new generation of video game journalists that aren’t inflammatory and are experienced at the games they’re reviewing if they’re writing a game review article.

Outside of classes and school, he enjoys playing video games and Magic: The Gathering. Both have had a huge impact on his life, and he wouldn’t be the man he is today without them.
