Smith Completes Second Year in Office

Jan. 1, 2024, marked the end of Smith’s second year in office. This year included some controversies, but also a wide range of initiatives designed to improve the university. The Title IX Task Force and Campus Carry training initiatives helped overcome these setbacks in the university’s progress, and the announcement of Marshall’s campus plan and the soft launch of Marshall for All helped kickstart the momentum of the university’s long-term goals.
