New Business Building Opens

One of President Smith’s early initiatives was the opening of the new 4th Ave. business building, and this goal came to fruition on Jan. 8, 2024, when the building opened for classes at the start of the spring semester.

The Brad D. Smith Center for Business and Innovation on Fourth Avenue opened Jan. 8. The Center contains classrooms, innovation spaces and study lounges for students. (Emma Gallus)
