‘Sleep Deprivation Chamber’ coming to Joan C. Edwards Playhouse
Marshall University will be home to a new student-directed play, “Sleep Deprivation Chamber,” March 9 and 10.
“Sleep Deprivation Chamber” is written by Adam Kennedy and Adrienne Kennedy. The student director from Marshall University is theatre major Charity Irby.
“[The play] sounds unusual, yet something I may be interested in,” said Alex Lynne, sophomore communications major.
Austin Carpenter, sophomore forensic science major, said he is interested to learn more about the play.
“[The play] sounds interesting,” Carpenter said. “I don’t know their angle, but I’m interested in finding out more.”
The play is in honor of Black History Month and will take place at the Francis Booth Experimental Theatre in the Joan C. Edwards Playhouse.
