Before taking the Joan C. Edwards Performing Art Center’s stage, Emmy award-winning actor Richard Thomas stopped by the theater Wednesday afternoon to share some insight on nearly 70 years of experience in the performing arts industry.
In a masterclass moderated by Jack Colclough, director of the School of Theatre and Dance, Thomas talked with theatre students about his career on Broadway, television and film, as well as his current role in the one-man show ‘Mark Twain Tonight!’
Thomas performed as Mark Twain for a Huntington audience at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, in a showing of ‘Mark Twain Tonight!’ at the Playhouse. Thomas is the first and only actor authorized to perform the revived play, which was written and originally performed by Hal Holbrook.
