XOXO, Michael Brown
The readers submitted some questions about life, love and everything in between. I answered them as honest as I knew possible. I’m here to keep it real with you when no one else is and to answer with no judgment because I don’t know you! I’m just a college senior who enjoys giving his opinion. Here are some of the questions I got this week:
When you hear the word “love,” who’s the first person that comes to your mind?
I think you meant “what,” because the first thing that comes to my mind when I hear that word is chocolate milk.
Do you have any regrets?
I sure don’t. I mean, there a few things I probably wouldn’t do again if I had the chance, but everything happens for a reason. I think this is something some people need to remind themselves of, as so many of you reading are forever beating yourself up over something you did or something that happened, but it happened for a reason. You may not realize what that reason is at this very moment in time, but eventually it will come to you.
What hobby do you wish you could pick up?
I would love to be super artistic, like in my free time it would be awesome if I was just at my home painting beautiful canvases or sculpting mind blowing pieces. I’m currently interning at the Huntington Museum of Art and it is has made me so much more appreciative of art as a whole.
Do you use a planner? If so, do you have any tips on how to set mine up?
Yeah, I actually do use a planner, but mine is currently not as organized as I’d like to it be. My best friend has an entire blog post on how she organizes her planner; if only this wasn’t in print I’d attach a link. I think you should just find a system that works for you; certain things don’t work for everyone.
Is it just me or do you think time is flying?
Honey, time doesn’t wait for no one. I’m about to register for my last semester of undergrad here in like an hour and I’m mind blown. It feels like yesterday I was in high school or orientation here at Marshall. I have to say, make sure you cherish the small things and don’t take things for granted, that’s one thing life and time have taught me.
