Marshall University’s redshirt sophomore running back Brenden Knox is named this week’s athlete of the week after helping secure the Herd’s big win over Florida Atlantic University with a final score of 36-31. Knox was named C-USA Offensive Player of the Week having 23 rushing attempts for a total of 220 yards, along with scoring two touchdowns. On the receiving end, he had two receptions for six yards. Knox scored the winning touchdown.
