MUPD warns of ‘suspicious behavior’ in Sixth Avenue parking garage
The Marshall University Police Department wants to alert the Huntington community about a suspicious person that has been prowling the parking garage located on Sixth Avenue near the Joan C. Edwards Playhouse.
A female student reported to MUPD that, as she was walking up the stairs in the parking garage, a white male looking to be in his mid-twenties, around six feet tall, with light brown hair appeared to be looking up her dress and then continued to follow her home.
Last Friday afternoon, another report was made to MUPD by a woman claiming a man of the same description was making her feel “uncomfortable” while in the Sixth Avenue parking garage.
Once MUPD showed up to the garage, the suspect managed to get away.
The suspect is said to drive a red vehicle with temporary Ohio plates.
MUPD wants anyone to report any suspicious behavior and contact them immediately if they have any information.
