Douglas Harding

Douglas Harding, Executive Editor

Douglas Harding is a 22-year-old writer from Sissonville, West Virginia. He plans to graduate in December from Marshall University, where he studies journalism, English and history. Douglas is a member of the Honors College, where he also has worked as an editor and writer for the Honors Oracle. During his time in college, Douglas also has worked as an intern beat reporter for the Herald-Dispatch in Huntington and has been closely involved with various grassroots organizations, movements and initiatives, such as the West Virginia Can't Wait movement. Douglas’ vast life experiences have shaped his passions for learning about people and the places they live, as well as reading, writing, traveling, listening to music and simply living life to its fullest. He has special interests in the fields of politics, culture, literature and sports. After college, he would like to make a living writing about poverty, struggling communities and grassroots involving working-class political movements.
